Last weekend Inspire went on its first alumni trip of 2018 and visited Prato in Tuscany, Italy. Inspire fell in love with Prato. With its myriad of cobbled streets and twinkling lights in the historical centre, its trendy bars and cafes on every corner, and its impressive cathedrals and museums, Prato is Italy’s best kept secret. Most of all, Inspire enjoyed meeting familiar and new faces at Art Hotel Museo.
Italy met England as we exchanged handshakes and kisses, drank espresso and ate British biscuits, and greeted each other in very basic Italian and very good English.
It was a delight to meet the familiar faces of students from Inspire 2017 and their parents. It brought back such fond memories of the summer and all the fun we had on the course. We were impressed with what the students had been up to since then, their developed English skills, and their enthusiasm to return this summer.
What’s more, it was a treat to meet new faces as well. We were happy to answer questions and give prospective students further information about the different courses Inspire provides. We couldn’t help but get excited about how awesome Inspire is going to be this year!
